Merle

What happens to your message

The feedback button you just used is made by Merle. The team behind that product uses Merle to read what people send and to answer them.

  1. Your message goes to that team, with the address of the page you were on and what you tapped, unless you took those off. Here is everything the button records.
  2. The button says your message back in one sentence, so you can correct it.
  3. Someone on the team decides what to do with it. If other people sent the same thing, it's grouped with theirs and you all get the same updates.
  4. When the team replies or fixes it, you see that in the feedback button the next time you open the product. If you asked for updates by email, Merle emails you too.
  5. If it was fixed, you're asked whether it works for you now. Still broken goes back to the team.

That team decides what happens to your message, and its privacy policy applies. To see or delete what you sent, ask the team first. Merle's privacy policy covers the rest.

Add this to your app

If you build a product, this is two lines of code. Your customers press the button, every request lands in one inbox with an owner and a status, and when it ships, everyone who asked is told. It's free to start.
